The PlaketXL is our take on classic looks such as the Cherry 80-2100. We have a 60% main cluster with a double macro row and obviously the pen holder. The design process started almost 2 years ago when Plaketdebeur, passionate about OG stuff, wanted something reminiscing of this aesthetic. After several iterations on the design we agreed on a version we were both proud of. We made a first prototype in a silver-red colorway (yes we really love silver-red cw). We were really happy with the result, there is always some nitpicking of course. This first prototype was shown at some events with some of our other keyboards and we got some really good comments. At some point a shop reached out to us so we implemented the internal change we wanted and did a new round of prototypes. After these two rounds of prototypes with two differents manufacturers, we're ready.
